This tutorial will explain step-by-step, how to build your own plastic pet house.

To start off, you will need to gather the proper materials.

Materials needed:
A large juice bottle
Woodburner or scissors

Step 1: Preparation
Thoroughly wash the juice bottle to remove all stickiness.
Heat up the woodburner if you are using one.
Note: The woodburner is recommended as the heat rounds off the edges rather than leaving a sharp edge that scissors could leave when cutting the bottle.

Step 2: Assembly

We will start off with just a regular plastic juice bottle.

1. Remove all of the stickers and paper from the outside of the bottle.
2. Using the woodburner or scissors, cut the bottle in two.
3. Cut a hole in the top piece of the bottle that is large enough for your rats to get through.
4. Cut a hole in the bottom piece of the bottle that is large enough for your pets to get through.
5. Make sure that there are no sharp edges in your bottle as they could cut your pets
